Hoops for Hope (Basketball)

Hoops for hope basketball Asia was established in 2012, we would like to use basketball as education tools to connect youngsters and to share the meaning of life, as well as the message of hopeful life.
 
Our target group are children from grassroots, Youth-at-Risk and people who love basketball. As basketball is team sports, we would to teach the proper values and help children to build confident during the training session.
 
Moreover, we would like to create the atmosphere of social inclusion, children could learn to serve others and they would have the sense of belongings in the society.

Hong Kong, China Tennis Association Limited

HKCTA is a non-profit organisation and the national sporting body for tennis in Hong Kong, recognised by both the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and Asian Tennis Federation (ATF). HKCTA currently has more than 40 affiliated member clubs and over 4000 individual members.


HKCTA meets its primary objectives through the organisation of a number of local and international tennis events as well as junior and elite development programmes, a corporate training scheme, coaching certification courses, a Tennis-For-All open enrollment programme, and a mini-tennis initiative for young children, amongst other initiatives.


The Hong Kong Lawn Tennis Association was formed in 1909 by a small group of tennis enthusiasts from recreation clubs in the region, changing to its current name of Hong Kong Tennis Association (HKCTA) in 1984. More than 100 years since its inception, HKCTA’s core objectives have remained the same- to promote tennis to all, to nurture talented local players and to raise the standard of the game in Hong Kong through the organisation of tournaments at all levels.

Action Sports Foundation

Action Sports Foundation believes that “sports could create dreams to grassroots children in their life’s and to practice the future.” We collaborate from time to time with different NGO’s, sports clubs/teams, primary and secondary schools, universities, individuals and governments to organize different types of sports events. It will help developing good quality coaches, umpires, sports administrators, and behind-the-scenes personnel. Also, to encourage families in the community to participate more activities in the society at the same time, to attract more young people to participate, enhance self-confidence, leadership and physical fitness to build a strong and healthy body. In addition, in promoting sports, we also keen on public welfare plus building caring in the community. We distributing meal coupon of 400 per month for the past 7 years, distributing moon cakes at Mid-Autumn Festival, giving dumplings at Dragon Boat Festival, visiting elderly homes, and even distributing masks and bleach to those in need in the community during the tough pandemic period.

Hong Kong China Dragon Boat Association

The Hong Kong China Dragon Boat Association has long been playing a vital role to drive, develop, promote, manage and organize competitive and social dragon boating activities in Hong Kong since 1991.The Association is not only an affiliate member of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China but also a founding member of two dragon boat organizations, the International Dragon Boat Federation and Asian Dragon Boat Federation.
 
Begin one of the key organization bodies of dragon boat racing worldwide, the Association strives to preserve the traditional Chinese culture and religious ceremonies on dragon boating while actively promoting competitions locally and overseas, identifying and cultivating potential athletes, offering international standard training to race officials and coaches as well as supporting and motivating local team to participate actively in overseas competitions.

Hong Kong China Rugby

The Hong Kong Rugby Union (HKRU) is the governing body of rugby and touch rugby, a National Sports Association, full member of World Rugby and the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China. 
 
Our vision is to be a vibrant and multi-ethnic sports community, comprising people of all ages playing, coaching, refereeing, supporting and administering a competitive and enjoyable game that emphasises fair play, teamwork, leadership, endeavour, family and social inclusion.
 
We have over 11,000 registered players at all levels from 4 years up, and rugby is a recognised sport by both the Hong Kong Schools and Universities Sports Federations.  At senior level we have 63 women’s and men’s contact rugby teams, along with annual summer and winter touch leagues.
 
Rugby is the only team sport with elite status at the Hong Kong Sports Institute, and our men are the reigning Asian Games Gold Medallists.  Our women’s 15s team participated in the 2017 World Cup, and our men’s 15s team are the current Asian Champions.
 
We have our own charity, the HKRU Community Foundation, that harnesses the power of sport to effect positive social change, and we are the organisers of the famous Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens.
